SMOOTHIE ONE (banana coffee)

ingredients

  • two cups of ice (0 cals)
  • 4 tbsp of water (0 cals)
  • cup of black coffee (0 cals)
  • one half of a medium banana (53 cals)


optional ingredients

  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract (12 cals)
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla creamer (35 cals depending on brand)
  • dash cinnamon (6 cals)


directions

  1. measure out your ingredients
  2. put them all the ingredients into a blender and mix (the end result should be a thick consistency)

  • 1 tsp of honey (15 cals)

tips & tricks

  • vary your intake, so if you only eat 1000 cals, you should switch between 1000-1500 for example so your weight doesn’t plateau
  • keep track of your body changing, take a picture of your body and/or face each day - you’d be surprised at the subtle changes that happen as you lose weight and it’s extra motivating to see
  • keep a list of all the positive comments you receive about your appearance/body/weight, it’s extremely motivating and when you feel the urge to binge, just read it
  • drink water all day every day, between 1-2L at least and make sure you drink with all your meals. most of the time you’re thirsty not hungry
  • take care of yourself, keep up good hygiene, organise your belongings and your life, keep your room clean, being a slob usually makes you care less about what you’re eating
  • if you feel genuinely hungry, eat something! don’t ignore your body, even it’s something small, make sure you satisfy your hunger otherwise you’ll just end up binging
  • don’t over exercise because you’ll get mad cravings and hunger pangs afterwards, do a decent amount when you can but definitely don’t over do it
